Excuse them

Stop making excuses for them

You saw what they were

They showed you who they were

Yet

You chose to ignore the signs.

Forget how many years have passed

You cannot keep ignoring them

Lying for them

Because you know what will happen?

You’ll become just like them

Then become them.

Don’t worry about what others will think

They’ll have their time

Come to their own realisation.

For now just fall back

Soon everyone will wake up

  2. Also, I could relate to this on so many levels just as how I choose to keep my circle of friends smaller. I only show my true colours to those I can trust
