Stop praying

Stop praying against things that are inevitable.

If you know the world will end, why pray for peace in the world? Pray for peace within yourself, pray for the strength of your faith, pray for help within the war.

It is the same with death and illness, I know prayer helps ease the pain, but hello!? News flash!! We are dying anyway and that person you are praying for might make it now, but what about later? You can keep praying for them to get better because that lengthens the healing process for you and reduced quality of life for them here on earth.

Why not pray for your healing when they are gone? Pray for strength to be able to cope, pray you can look after what they left behind.
